SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Brockport's Nicole Orcutt its PrestoSports Women's Swimmer of the Week and Cortland's Taylor Williams the Diver of the Week.
Orcutt won all four events she entered on Saturday to compile 38 total points as Brockport topped host Oswego in convincing fashion on Saturday. Orcutt won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:25.65. She added a first-place finish in the women's 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.77 and took top honors in the women's 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:34.67 to sweep her individual events. She was also the final leg of the first place 200-yard freestyle relay for the Golden Eagles as they took home top honors with a time of 1:44.19.
Williams won both diving events in Cortland's dual meet at Geneseo Saturday. She recorded a score of 264.00 points on the 1-meter board and 261.65 points on the 3-meter board.
