
Foiles and Potter recognized as PrestoSports Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) recognizes Oneonta's Megan Foiles and Cortland's Paige Potter as PrestoSports Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week.
Foiles led the offense last week in a 2-0 week for the Red Dragons. Her eight assists vs. Buffalo State tied the single-season game record and her 13 points in the same game was the second most all-time.
Potter posted a 2-0 record with a 4.00 GAA, 13 saves and a .619 save percentage last week as Cortland (9-4, 6-0 SUNYAC) stretched its winning streak to eight straight games and clinched a conference playoff berth. In a 17-4 home victory versus New Platz on Wednesday, Potter made five saves and scooped up two ground balls. She them turned aside eight shots in a 17-4 win at Oswego on Friday. For the season, Potter has posted a 9-4 record with an 8.38 GAA, 89 saves and a .449 save percentage.
