SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) awards Oswego's Tishawn Featherstone and New Paltz Billy Moeller as PrestoSports Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week.
Featherstone hit .529 this week with three homeruns, including a three-run blast to left-center field to put the Red Dragons of Oneonta away in the top of the 10th inning, completing the Laker comeback on Saturday. Featherstone knocked in nine runs on nine hits this past week.
Moeller had a career game against Fredonia Friday, tossing 15 strikeouts in eight innings pitched, allowing just six hits in an 8-4 win over the Blue Devils. Moeller pitched two innings against Ramapo and notched five strikeouts, giving up just one hit in the outing.
