GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo women's lacrosse graduate attacker Hannah Marafioti was named Second-Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) on Thursday afternoon.
Marafioti earns the Second-Team All-American distinction after leading the Knights to a SUNYAC Championship game appearance and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2014. The Fairport, NY native was also named First-Team All-SUNYAC and Offensive Player of the Year. She finished the season with 109 points on 61 goals and 48 assists, setting program records for points and assists in a season. She also surpassed the all-time program record for points, tallying 314 over the course of her career. Last week, USA Lacrosse Magazine named Marafioti an Honorable Mention All-American.
