SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Geneseo (8-0-1) takes the top seed going into the 2021 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's soccer championship while Plattsburgh (7-2) is No. 2. Both teams earned a bye into the semifinals.
The No. 4 New Paltz (5-2-2) will host the fifth-seeded Fredonia (5-3-1) and the No. 3 Cortland (6-1-2) will host sixth-seeded Brockport (4-4-1) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.
The winner of the New Paltz/Fredonia game will travel to Geneseo while the victor of the Cortland/Brockport game will go to Plattsburgh, Wednesday, November 3.
The championship game is set for Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m. at the higher seed. Cortland won the last women's soccer championship in 2019. Oneonta leads the conference with 13 total league titles.
