Doyen and Pav chosen as PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has chosen Cortland's Pat Doyen and Geneseo's Mark Pav as PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week.

In his lone game of the week, Doyen scored four goals and recorded two ground balls as Cortland (9-6) earned a 13-11 come-from-behind victory at Ithaca on Wednesday night. Three of Doyen's four goals came during a Red Dragon six-goal run to start the fourth quarter, erasing a 9-7 deficit. For the season, Doyen is second on the team in scoring with 37 points on 23 goals and 14 assists and is fourth on the team with 29 ground balls.

Pav led Geneseo to a 1-1 week in goal with a 12-4 win over Plattsburgh and a 14-4 loss to defending national champions RIT. Pav finished the week with 33 saves after tallying 21 against the No. 2 Tigers and then 12 against the Cardinals. He finished with a GAA of 9.03 and a save percentage of 64.7.
