SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) awards Rocco Santillo of Brockport and Mark Pav of Geneseo as PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week.
In Brockport's 15-5 win over SUNY New Paltz in the teams SUNYAC opener on Saturday afternoon, Rocco Santillo scored a career high six goals in the teams win. He also recorded a total of two ground balls and two caused turnovers. He finished the game with a 90% shots on goals percentage with nine shots on goal on 10 shots. This is the second week in a row that Santillo has earned the PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week award
Pav led Geneseo to a 2-0 week with a 16-2 win over Alfred and 8-2 win over Oneonta. The junior goalie only allowed four goals over 112 minutes played for a goals against average of 2.14 and a save percentage of 85.7. Pav tallied 24 saves over the week with 10 against Alfred and 14 against Oneonta.
