
Geneseo's Pav, Cook Earn All-American Honorable Mention From USILA

GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior goalkeeper Mark Pav and senior attacker Kevin Cook were each named All-American Honorable Mentions by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Pav started in all 17 games this season for the Knights and earned his second-straight SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year nod. He had 203 saves throughout the season, with 69 of them being in conference games. Pav ended the season with a 5.62 conference goals against average, the top mark in the SUNYAC. In the conference championship, Pav had a 65.0 save percentage and held the Red Dragons to seven goals in the final game. He earned SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week status three times this season.
Cook earned First-Team All-SUNYAC after leading the Geneseo offense in goals and points this season. Cook totaled 32 goals and 12 assists, good enough for fourth-best in the conference in goals and points. Cook's season was highlighted by a six-point performance in Geneseo's 14-6 win over Brockport in the regular season.
