BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Geneseo took home the 2022 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's outdoor track and field championship with 229 points, Saturday at Brockport's Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium. This is their ninth overall SUNYAC men's outdoor track and field title. Cortland finished second while Brockport was third.

The SUNYAC awarded the Most Outstanding Performance and the Most Valuable Performer following the two-day championship. The Male Most Outstanding Performance, voted on by the coaches, was awarded to Art Jordan from Brockport. Jordan and Cortland's Brett Morse were named the Co-Male Most Valuable Performer based on total points.

The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. For the second year in a row, Riley Grossman from Geneseo was honored as the men's outdoor track and field Elite 20 winner. He holds a 3.97 GPA in mathematics.
